Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 Nov 2026.

What we collect

We collect basic, cookieless traffic statistics through Cloudflare Web Analytics. This tells us, in aggregate, which pages are visited and how often. It does not use cookies, does not build visitor profiles, and does not follow you across the web.

We do not run advertising trackers. We do not use third-party analytics that identify individual visitors.

Accounts

Rubrilyn has no account system. You cannot register, log in, or create a profile. We therefore hold no passwords, no user profiles and no login history.

Cookies

Because our analytics are cookieless and we have no accounts, this site does not set tracking cookies. If we add any feature that requires cookies in the future, we will update this policy first and ask for consent where the law requires it.

Messages you send us

If you contact us through /contact/, we receive the contents of your message and your email address. We use them only to respond to your enquiry. We do not sell, rent or share your contact details.

Data retention

Our analytics data is aggregated and retained only as long as needed to understand readership trends. Messages sent through /contact/ are kept for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any follow-up, then deleted on request.

Our articles link to vendor websites and other public sources. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control. Review their policies before submitting personal information to them.

Your rights

You may ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete messages you have sent us. Write to the address below and we will respond.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted in the policy itself.
